The Elena A. Miranda Foundation, founded by Carlos Fausto Miranda, helps children whose families can’t afford life-saving medical care—ensuring 100% of every donation goes straight to treatment. Recently, the Foundation pledged $500,000 to Nicklaus Children’s Hospital, which named a new lobby wing the “Elena A. Miranda Marketplace” in its honor. With full transparency and zero admin fees, the Foundation has one goal: to turn compassion into action and give every child a fighting chance.

HOW WE HELP

The foundation exists to help children who have life-ending conditions for which a lifesaving medical intervention does exist, but, sadly, their families do not have the funds to cover it, and society has left them behind to such an extent that no public funds are available to save them. In these times, where more and more public medical aid is being cut from those who most need it, our role is more critical than ever.

The EAM Foundation focuses on assisting children with disabilities and challenges, as well as their families. Not all children with such difficulties are so fortunate to be born to families committed who are capable of dealing with their needs. It is for them, that our Foundation exists, we strive to make a positive impact on the families that need help the most.

A day of creativity, comfort, and connection at Nicklaus Children’s Hospital @nicklaus4kids Through the Elena A. Miranda Foundation, children and families enjoyed meaningful moments of joy while painting dog lamps, participating in interactive activities, and spending time with Gus @h2h_therapy_dogs @gustafpup the service dog, whose visit brought plenty of smiles. Kenneth C. Griffin Surgical Tower 1st Anniversary | Elena A. Miranda Foundation One year ago, the Kenneth C. Griffin Surgical Tower at Nicklaus Children’s Hospital opened its doors, and with it, a renewed promise to deliver world-class care to children and families at a time when they need it most. 💙 We are honored to have played a part in this milestone through our $500,000 pledge to the Nicklaus Children’s Hospital Patient Assistance Fund. Founded in 2023 in memory of Elena A. Miranda, our mission is simple but urgent: ensure that underprivileged children facing life-threatening conditions receive the care they need when no other funding is available. With 100% of donations going directly to patient care, every dollar helps create an intangible difference, one that can save a child’s life. This past September, the foundation celebrated the naming of the Elena A.
